5 Step Guide to Measuring Your Penis For a Condom
1. Make sure you have the right tools to hand. A soft, flexible measuring tape (like the ones used to measure for clothing). Alternatively, if you don’t have a measuring tape like that, some string and a normal DIY-style measuring tape when used together can work okay*.
2. Measure length. While your penis is erect, measure from the base to the tip. Make sure to press the measuring tape (or string) firmly against the pubic bone. This will give you the true length of your penis.
3. Measure girth. Wrap the measuring tape (or string) around the thickest part of your erect penis. This will give you the girth.
4. Calculate your width. EXS Condom sizes are the width of the condom. To calculate the width of your penis, take your girth measurement in mm, and divide it by 3.14. This will give you the width of your penis. For example, a girth of 170mm, would be a width of 54.1mm. The ideal condom size for this example would be our Regular 54mm Natural Latex and Silicone Lubricated condom.
5. Try some for size. Once you’ve worked out what mm size condom you should be wearing, try a couple of different ones to find the one that feels and works the best for you.
Remember, using a correctly fitting condom is crucial for both safety and pleasure during sexual activity. If you're unsure about condom sizing or have difficulty finding the right fit, consider consulting with a healthcare professional for guidance.
*wrap the string around your penis and mark the string where it meets the end. Lay the string out flat and straight and measure the length of the string.
